When you sign up for a Hedgi software subscription, your subscription will run for one month from the day you sign up. If you cancel before the end of the month, your subscription will not be renewed. If you choose to continue your subscription, Hedgi will renew it on a monthly basis until you decide to unsubscribe.
If you opt for Hedgi Pro bookkeeping, we do require a minimum commitment of three months. This is because we want to take the time to get to know your business, approve and create automations, and get to know you, the business owner. By committing to at least three months, we can ensure that we provide you with the best possible service and help you achieve your financial management goals.
Absolutely! When you sign up with Hedgi for the first time, we’ll create a user account for you. You can use the same login information to create as many company files as you need, using the same email address. Simply go to the admin tab in the Hedgi web app and add a new business. It’s that easy! With Hedgi, you can manage all of your business finances in one convenient location, without the hassle of multiple logins or accounts.

Hedgi offers seamless integration with Plaid, allowing you to effortlessly connect to any financial institution supported by their platform. Once connected, transactions are automatically imported from the prior day, saving you valuable time and minimizing manual data entry. In addition to Plaid integration, you can also import formatted data via CSV. This flexible import option enables you to easily import data from third-party apps and journal entries, ensuring that all your financial data is consolidated and up-to-date within Hedgi.
Hedgi+ is designed to provide bookkeeping and accounting services for businesses that have filed taxes in the previous calendar year using Hedgi. While we strive to accommodate as many businesses as possible, there are some cases where we may not be able to offer our services due to the complexity of your business or the nature of your financial transactions. For instance, if your business deals heavily in foreign or cryptocurrency transactions, or if your business and personal expenses are extensively mingled, Hedgi+ may not be suitable for your needs. Similarly, if your business is legal at the state level but not at the federal level, you may not be eligible. However, if you have historical records for your business, we’ll review them during your first appointment to determine whether you meet our eligibility criteria.
Hedgi Pro consists of two main phases: cleanup and monthly bookkeeping.
Cleanup: During your first appointment, a dedicated bookkeeper will introduce you to Hedgi, assist with setting up transaction automations, connecting your banks, and uploading necessary documents. After collecting all the required information, the bookkeeper will start the cleanup process, which includes categorizing transactions and reconciling accounts. Typically, cleanup takes around 30 days from when we receive all the required information from you.
Monthly bookkeeping: After cleanup is complete, your bookkeeper will categorize your monthly transactions and reconcile your bank accounts. This ensures that all transactions are accurately recorded in the correct account, giving you clear records of your business’s income and expenses.

As a family business with over 40 years of experience, we understand the importance of personal relationships in this industry. Our goal is to expand our partner network to include small firms across the country, enabling us to provide efficient tax services while allowing business owners to focus on building and maintaining relationships. For now, our CPA tax preparation services are only available to small businesses in San Diego County.
